  对压铸模具的寿命来说,当压铸模具温度较高时能及时的做好冷却工作也是比较重要的一点。压铸模具的冷却办法有水冷、风冷、热管冷却和直接冷却。

  (1)水冷:在压铸模具上设置冷却水通道,使循环水通入成形镶块或型芯内,将热量带出模具。水冷冷却效率高,能有效下降型腔外表的温度,但增加了压铸模具结构的杂乱程度,首要用于要求散热量大的模具。为了避免型腔外表结露,冷却水的温度应高于室温。

In order to avoid condensation on the surface of the cavity, the temperature of the cooling water should be higher than the room temperature.
  (2)风冷:关于压铸型中难于用水冷却的部位,可采用风冷,风冷可采用鼓风机鼓风或用压缩空气。风冷不但能冷却压铸模具,还能将涂料吹匀,遣散涂料的挥发气体,减少铸件气孔。风冷的冷却温度远小于水冷。
  (2) air cooling: for the parts difficult to be cooled by water in the die casting mold, air cooling can be adopted, and blower or compressed air can be used for air cooling. Air cooling can not only cool the die-casting mold, but also blow the coating evenly, release the volatile gas of the coating, and reduce the porosity of the casting.   (3)热管冷却:首要用于难于用冷却水直接冷却的细小部位。在需冷却的细小部位,用热管特热量导出,再用冷却水冷却热管。

  (4)直接冷却:在模温机压铸型的热节部位能够用传热系数高的合金(铵青铜、钨基合金等)进行直接冷却,将铵青铜销旋入固定型芯,铜销的结尾带有散热片以增强冷却作用

  一、热疲惫龟裂损坏失效

  在压射力的作用下,模具会在更薄弱处萌发裂纹,尤其是模具成型面上的划线痕迹或电加工痕迹未被打磨光,或是成型的清角处均会更早出现纤细裂纹,当晶界存在脆性相或晶粒粗大时,即简略开裂。而脆性开裂时裂纹的扩展很快,这对模具的碎裂失效是很危险的要素。为此,一方面凡模具面上的划痕、电加工痕迹等有必要打磨光,即使它在浇注体系部位,也有必要打光。别的要求所使用的模具材料的强度高、塑性好、冲击耐性和开裂耐性均好。

  常用的压铸合金有锌合金、铝合金、镁合金和铜合金,也有纯铝压铸的,Zn、Al、Mg是较生动的金属元素,它们与模具材料有较好的亲和力,特别是Al易咬模。当模具硬度较高时,则抗蚀性较好,而成型外表若有软点,则敌对蚀性晦气。
